Species Maps - a new service from the Norwegian biodiversity Information Centre
In cooperation with GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility) NBIC today introduce a new map service on internet. The service Species Maps allows you to search 35 databases, located in 10 different scientific institutions, simultaneously. The databases so far contain data on 3 million species locations. A total of 12 600 species from 17 different species groups are represented. More data will be added to the service in 2008.
